2020年11月27日、「健康長寿（Healthy Ageing）」をテーマに、オランダのライデン大学医学部と共同シンポジウムを開催します（Zoom開催です）。
両国における高齢者特有の疾患や予防について、臨床研究やコホート研究の成果を発表します。

On November 27, 2020, we will host a joint symposium on the topic of healthy ageing with Leiden University in the Netherlands.
The event will feature presentations from researchers in both countries on the results of clinical research and cohort studies on diseases specific to the elderly and preventive care.
(Please note that the event will only be held in English and no interpreting will be available.)
ライデン大学医学部は老化のバイオマーカー研究において数々の業績があります。
長崎大学は離島におけるコホート研究の成果を多く発信してきました。
ともに高齢社会国家でありながら、異なる社会背景をもつオランダと日本の研究者がそれぞれの知見を持ち寄り、ディスカッションを行います。

Leiden University’s School of Medicine has published numerous research papers on ageing and biomarkers.
Meanwhile, Nagasaki University has been giving many presentations on the results of its cohort studies in outlying islands.
At this symposium, researchers from the Netherlands and Japan, two countries with aging societies but different social backgrounds, will bring their respective findings to the discussion.
