Taking a step to turn ideals of a nuclear-free world into reality

Nakamura Keiko is Associate Professor of the Research Center for Nuclear Weapons Abolition. As an expert on nuclear disarmament, she travels around the world educating people about the atomic bombing in Nagasaki city and calling for the abolition of nuclear weapons as an expert on nuclear disarmament. She is also taking a leading role in disarmament education programs for training the next generation, such as mentoring the Nagasaki Youth delegation.
