Hosoda Naomi is Associate Professor of the School of Global Humanities and Social Sciences. As a cultural anthropologist, she investigates Filipino migrants around the world and has been observing the dynamic social change in the Philippines for the past 20 years. She loves fieldwork that is full of “moments of inspiration” where she can encounter things, words, phenomena, and ideas that go beyond the scope of imagination.
