On March 26, 2024, President Luan Tiangang and his delegation from Wuyi University visited Nagasaki University and paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Ito Masako, Trustee of Student Affairs and International Affairs. Nagasaki University and Wuyi University are engaged in collaborative research activities in common fields such as environmental science and pharmaceutical science. Both universities have expressed interest in signing academic cooperation agreements, and discussions were held on future exchanges.
As a member of the delegation, Professor Chen Wenhua, who obtained his doctoral degree from Nagasaki University’s School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2000 and now serves as the dean of Wuyi University’s School of Biological Sciences and Health, attended the courtesy call. The meeting was lively, with topics ranging from the global achievements of Nagasaki University alumni to memories of Nagasaki.
Expectations are high for increased student exchange and collaborative research efforts.
