Chairman of the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) and Colleagues visit Nagasaki University

  On October 7th 2024, Dr. Abdullahi Ali, Chairman of the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), Dr. Damaris Maweu, Director of KEMRI, Prof. Elijah Songok, Director-General of KEMRI, and members of the research team for the “Integrated Research and Development towards the Control and Elimination of Schistosomiasis” (Principal Investigator: Prof. Hamano of the Institute of Tropical Medicine), conducted by members from KEMRI and Nagasaki University under the Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS) program, visited President Nagayasu and Trustee Ito of Nagasaki university.

  During the courtesy visit, President Nagayasu first expressed his gratitude for the hospitality he received during his visit to Kenya in July of this year. He also expressed his gratitude for the long-term exchange between the two institutions, and expressed his hopes for the further development and revitalization of the exchange in the future.
