“Planetary Health Through Beekeeping”
This seminar will explore how beekeeping can contribute not only to ecosystem and biodiversity conservation, but also to global health, local livelihoods, and climate change mitigation.

Our speaker, Dr. Francisca Kilonzi (Environmental Research Scientist, Kenya), a doctoral program graduate of Nagasaki University, will share inspiring research from Kitui County, Kenya, where local communities have established a cooperative and expanded beekeeping efforts to protect their environment and strengthen resilience.
