On October 23, 2024, Director Kris Schiermeier and Coordinator Kuniko Forrer of the Japan Museum SieboldHuis visited Nagasaki University.
In 2009, Nagasaki University opened the International Liaison Office in the SieboldHuis to serve as a base to facilitate exchange in the Netherlands and by extension in Europe.
The delegation met Trustee Ito, Vice President Jiang, and Assistant Director (Europe) Yamashita of the Office for Global Relations. After Trustee Ito expressed her gratitude for their assistance in launching the Nagasaki University Global Alumni Network in Leiden, they discussed how to promote the partnership between the SieboldHuis and Nagasaki University in the future, as well as how to use the International Liaison Office more effectively based on usage statistics reports.
