Nagasaki University launched a new internal grant program in FY2025 — the International Alumni Collaborative Research Support Grant (NUGAN Research) — to promote international research collaborations through the university’s global alumni network.
Following the open call in July, 13 projects were selected. Alumni from China, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, the Philippines, and Egypt are taking part.
On October 10 (Fri.), the selected Japanese researchers gathered for a kickoff meeting to share their plans and connect with colleagues.
The projects cover diverse areas such as infectious disease control, environmental purification, and AI-based medical research. We look forward to seeing what comes next through the NUGAN network!
