On Friday, September 4th, “Kazakhstan Night” was held at the Yeh Kuo-Shii Global Friendship Center on the Bunkyo Campus of our university.
This event was organized as a pre-event for the establishment of the NUGAN Kazakhstan Chapter.
During the event, international students from Kazakhstan introduced their country’s culture, traditions, and daily life. Participants deepened their understanding of Kazakhstan and enjoyed interacting through presentations and a question-and-answer session.
Following the cultural presentation, traditional Kazakh sweets called “Baursak,” handmade by the international students, were served, and participants enjoyed conversations in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
This event provided an opportunity for participants to learn more about Kazakhstan and marked a first step toward expanding exchanges between Nagasaki University and Kazakhstan.
Nagasaki University Global Alumni Network (NUGAN) plans to hold a series of “Beyond Borders” events every month.
