NUGAN

NUGAN is an acronym for the “Nagasaki University Global Alumni Network.” NUGAN was created to be a global community of people from all over the world, connected by their shared experience of studying or working at Nagasaki University. NUGAN’s chapters and Ambassadors help bring Nagasaki University Alumni* together wherever they may find themselves around the world, giving alumni an opportunity to connect, reminisce and maintain their links with each other and the university.

^* Alumni includes:
・Those who have graduated or completed studies at Nagasaki University.
・Those who have completed a short-term study abroad program at Nagasaki University.
・Those who have been previously enrolled or employed at Nagasaki University as a faculty member or researcher.
・Those who have been recognized as such by the Director of Office for Global Relations.

NUGAN Ambassadors

NUGAN Ambassadors are selected by Nagasaki University through faculty recommendations. An awesome ambassador uses their knowledge and experiences at Nagasaki University spread the good word about the University and help out the University when they can. This includes: growing NUGAN, providing information to people thinking about studying abroad at NU, supporting NU students who are studying abroad in their region, being mentors, and more!

NUGAN Chapters

NUGAN Chapters can be found all over the world and to make one you just need three people who have a connection to the University (yourself included)! Chapters can decide what they want to do or how they want to operate. The choice is yours! We’d also like to see what our alumni are up to, so be sure to post things on social media!
