Major Activities
Exchange between Nagasaki University and Can Tho University began with joint research on fish ecology in the Mekong River. Subsequently, an academic exchange agreement and a memorandum of understanding for student exchange were signed in 2014, after which the two universities began exchanging students.
In January 2014, a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of an office at Nagasaki University was concluded, and the Liaison Office of Nagasaki University and Can Tho University was opened at Nagasaki University.
The two universities aim to further develop research cooperation and exchange students and faculty members and to contribute to the creation of a new center for the cultivation of researchers in marine field science and environmental science in southern Vietnam.
