【NUGAN】 Taiwan Study Abroad Fair Held

On Friday, May 22nd, a “Taiwan Study Abroad Fair” was held at the Yeh Kuo-Shii Global Friendship Center on the Bunkyo Campus of our university.
About 50 participants, mainly students interested in studying abroad or participating in overseas training programs in Taiwan, attended the event.

The program featured study abroad support information provided by Assistant Professor Taeko Moriyasu of the Global Education Division, Office for Global Affairs, as well as a mini-lecture on Taiwanese culture by Assistant Professor Song-Ya Lee of the School of Global Humanities and Social Sciences. In addition, students who had participated in programs such as language training, SDGs training, judicial institution visits, and banana plantation tours in Taiwan presented reports, offering practical insights into their academic experiences and daily life there.

The attendees listened attentively to each presentation, as valuable opportunities to deepen their understanding of Taiwan.

At the social exchange, Taiwanese tea and bananas were served, providing participants with a chance to experience Taiwanese culture firsthand.

NUGAN Beyond Borders, the organizer of this event, plans to hold international exchange events every month throughout the 2026 academic year.
