Seeking to be a university that contributes to the health of the entire planet, Nagasaki University has established “Planetary Health” as its slogan.
The world is facing countless issues including environmental problems, international conflicts, infectious diseases, depopulation, and economic disparity. Unfortunately, many of these problems are man-made, but we can restore the healty Earth by tapping into the power of people and the power of science.
With this in mind, we are now asking students of Nagasaki University to provide us with their ideas about what they can do for the sake of the planet’s health. Any and all ideas that contribute to planetary health are welcome.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 12 by 17:00. Applicants will be asked to present their ideas on Thursday, March 18 from 13:00 to 15:30. (15 minutes per presentation.)
Please refer to the attached application guidelines file for more information. Winners will receive a certificate and a prize.
