This year, 35 years after the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, “the Chernobyl-Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Virtual Poster Exhibition: A Message for the Young Generation” will be held online from April 26 to May 31, and representatives from the Embassy of Ukraine in Kenya, the United Nations and other international organizations are scheduled to join.

The opening event will be held on April 26 at 17:00 (Japan time). A student from the Nagasaki University School of Medicine will give a speech as the representative of Nagasaki’s youth, and Nagasaki University Professor Emeritus Shunichi Yamashita is also scheduled to speak. (Concluded)
