On October 13, 2023, H.E. Sibi George, Ambassador of India to Japan, and his delegation visited Nagasaki University.
The Ambassador and his delegation met with Prof. Kimura, Executive Officer (Institute of Integrated Science and Technology), Prof. Nishii, Dean of School of Information and Data Sciences and other faculty members, and discussed current and future exchanges.
Afterwards, His Excellency held an exchange session for students from India and students interested in diplomacy and other related fields. The students asked many questions to which His Excellency provided in-depth answers. Ambassador Sibi George also explained the history and the current state of relations between India and Japan. This lecture provided students a valuable opportunity to learn more about India and the duties entrusted to diplomats.
